Christopher’s Friday Afternoon Forecast

Video Forecast

FRIDAY AFTERNOON: A ridge building into New Mexico will allow temperatures to soar above average with most of us in the 70s & 80s. Enough moisture across the east will allow thunderstorms to pop up after some daytime heating takes shap.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: A weak disturbance will scrape the north sparking a few storms across the Northern Mountains. Sunday will clear out with warm temps. Temps both afternoons will be in the 70s & 80s with a few 90s across the south.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: Our next big storm looks to near the state Monday into Tuesday. Temps will drop (especially across the east) and rain chances will increase. A few strong storms are possible late Monday into Tuesday for eastern NM.
