Kristen’s Thursday Morning Forecast

Thursday’s weather will look very similar to what unfolded Wednesday with mostly to partly sunny skies, warm temperatures and an occasional breeze. High temperatures will warm to the 60s, 70s and 80s statewide — most of us above normal for this time of year.

We’ll kick off a series of changes with an incoming cold front moving in from the northeast on Friday. Expect strong winds to accompany this front with cooler temps to follow.

Our next big weather maker will come in the form of a Pacific storm scraping northern NM Saturday into Sunday. Showers are possible for those within northwest and northern NM, however, coverage and intensity will be limited. Most of the state will be stuck with extreme winds Sunday afternoon.
