A back door cold front will sit across northeastern New Mexico this afternoon. This will lead to a cool down of 5° – 10° with a few showers and storms this afternoon. Some of those storms could be on the strong side. The rest of the state remains warm and dry.
Temperatures will continue to inch up through Thursday as the flow turns more southwesterly. A few storms could develop across the southeast as some moisture creeps in from the south. A back door cold front will help deliver more showers to the east over the weekend as temperatures cool for most of the state.
