REMINDER: Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday at 2am. Remember to turn your clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday night!
Temperatures will remain above average as we close out the workweek thanks to a westerly flow in place across the state. Occasional rounds of high clouds will stream through the state Friday and Saturday.
A storm system will pass well north of the state over the weekend. This will boost of the winds, especially Saturday. As the storm system works its way into the Midwest, a back door cold front will drop into the state late Saturday into early Sunday. This will cause temperatures to drop by 15° – 20° between Saturday and Sunday.
Another storm system will pass through the Four Corners early next week. This will mean better rain and high elevation snow chances the farther north and west you go. The storm clears out Tuesday, allowing for more sunshine and moderating temperatures.
