Fewer storms today

Overall, activity slowing down today with dry air mixing into the region. Temperatures will continue to stay below 90 degrees. Showers today will be limited, especially for lower elevations.

Friday looks like a cloudy day across eastern New Mexico with showers. The backdoor cold front could also accelerate winds in the Tijeras Canyon. Rain looks most likely in Albuquerque on Sunday.
