Connor’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Batch of storms south of I-40

Today will be the most active day we have for the foreseeable future. Scattered storms will push into southern New Mexico during the evening. High pressure over the state will push south and allow dry west winds to take over. By the weekend, we’ll barely have any mountain showers.

The lack of rain will translate into above average temperatures. This will be one of the hottest stretches of summer coming up. Moisture is expected to rebound by next Tuesday.
