NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Temperatures will be above average today thanks to a sharp drop in monsoon moisture. Very few showers will develop over the eastern peaks and plains today and tomorrow.
A backdoor front drops down Thursday night. This will bring temperatures closer to average this weekend. Thunderstorms will be more likely in the mountains while the Rio Grande Valley will be mostly dry.
