RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Fire Department reports that all roads are open Tuesday, June 22 following two water main breaks on Monday. While the breaks have been repaired and the roads have reopened, the City of Rio Rancho states there will be lane closures as the roadways are patched.
The Rio Rancho Police Department initially reported a major water main break at Golf Course Road and Westside Blvd on Monday afternoon. Police stated that north and southbound traffic on Golf Course Road was being diverted and that Sara Road from NM 528 to Barabara Loop was also closed at the time.
All roads have since reopened.
