CUBA, N.M. (KRQE) – Both lanes of US 550 at milepost 47 about 17 miles south of Cuba were closed according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation Friday morning. Sandoval County Fire & Rescue reports in a tweet that a semi-truck rolled over.
Commuters were asked to avoid the area. Some drivers found themselves stuck for hours. One person was hospitalized but it’s unclear what caused the crash.
