ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police is investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred on Tuesday night on the I-25 southbound offramp at Pan American Freeway and Montaño. They say he was selling water on the side of the road and stepped into traffic to collect money when he was hit by a driver that didn’t see him.
The driver stayed on scene to speak with officers. The man who was hit has been hospitalized with severe head trauma.
