ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – North-heading lanes on San Mateo near Montgomery were closed Saturday due to a rollover. According to Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), the crash involved a county deputy.
BCSO claimed the deputy was heading to a SWAT call in South Valley when the unit collided with another vehicle in the intersection.
The deputy was taken to the hospital, but BCSO said he’s okay. The other driver was taken to a local hospital, but there has been no word on their condition.
