Stephen Cardullo’s second time around with the Isotopes

Stephen Cardullo was the heartwarming story from the Rockies organization over the past two seasons. In 2016, Cardullo went from independent baseball to triple-A and then the big leagues. In 2017, Cardullo made the opening day roster, but after not performing his best in the MLB he would be brought back to triple-A Albuquerque.

Cardullo would be released by the Rockies at the end of the season, but Stephen is back and is ready for another run at the Major Leagues. He underwent wrist surgery in the offseason, but never quit working.

“This year I was in extended spring training and then they brought me up to triple-A. I guess there was a spot open up in triple-A, and I am here and grateful to be here and I am doing my best to help this team win,” said Stephen Cardullo.
