NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The governor has lifted mask requirements for youth sports as long as athletes are fully vaccinated. Right now, Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for kids age 12 to 15 but those 16 and older can receive the Moderna vaccine.

Younger kids and those who aren’t vaccinated must still wear masks during play. Sports associations will have to report vaccination data to ensure compliance.
