NM United house over 12,000 fans in season opening 1-1 draw with Fresno

Over 12,000 fans attended the New Mexico United’s inaugural season opener on Saturday at Isotopes Park. It was a packed house filled with enthusiastic fans and they were treated with some solid action early, as local guy Devon Sandoval scored the games first goal in the 1st half.

NM United led 1-nill at the break over Fresno, but Fresno would come out in the 2nd half and score a goal right away. This game would end in a 1-1 tie. NM United will now move on to play Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday at their place, that game will kick off at 8:30 pm.

Sports Director, Van Tate was there to see all of the season-opening action and interviewed NM United’s Head Coach Troy Lesesne.
