Lobo Men’s Soccer loses their 2nd straight game at home after a 4-2 loss to FIU

Lobo Men’s Soccer was looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to St. Mary’s on Wednesday, with a win over conference foe Florida International University on Saturday. FIU would jump out to an early 1st half lead after a penalty kick, but UNM would bounce back with 2 first-half goals.

UNM led 2-1 at the break, but FIU would go on to score three 2nd half goals to give the Lobos their 2nd conference loss of the season. UNM is now 1-2 in Conference USA play and 3-7 overall on the season. They will remain at home now hosting Loyola Marymount on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
