Lobo Baseball drops series finale with San Jose State

It was a game that had 42 combined hits and 40 combined runs, but UNM would not come out on top of their series finale on Sunday with San Jose State, losing 22-18. The Spartans ended a six-game Lobo winning streak on Sunday and prevented a UNM sweep.

The Lobos are now 8-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play. They will remain at home now as they gear up for a three-game series with Cal State Fullerton. Game 1 will be on Friday at 6 p.m.
