The Albuquerque Isotopes sent three players to Wednesday’s Triple-A All Star Game in Columbus, Ohio. Isotopes third baseman Josh Fuentes and outfielder Mike Tauchman accounted for four runs in the Pacific Coast League 12-7 victory over the International League. Fuentes was also named the MVP of the game.

Fuentes got the PCL on the board in the second inning when he hit a solo shot to tie the game at 1. He would later come back with an RBI single in the second inning, but not before his Isotopes teammate, Tauchman, drove in a run while grounding out.

The PCL would score six runs in the second inning. Tauchman also had an RBI double in the third inning. He and Fuentes went two for three at the plate.

Isotopes pitcher D.J. Johnson got work in the ninth inning. He went less than an inning and struck out one batter. The Isotopes resume regular season play Thursday night at Las Vegas. The game has an 8:05 p.m. start time.
