Holly Holm has signed a new six-fight contract with the UFC. Manager Lenny Fresquez confirmed the news with KRQE Sports Wednesday. Terms of the new deal were undisclosed.
Holm’s old deal had two fights remaining. Holm last fought in June when she scored a unanimous decision over Megan Anderson at UFC 225.
The former world champion boxer raised her UFC profile to a new level when she upset Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in November of 2015 to win the bantamweight title. Holm has a 5-4 record as a UFC fighter and has had fights at bantamweight and featherweight.
When asked when her next fight would take place Fresquez said UFC will be making that announcement.
