Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, and the sport is getting some traction in New Mexico. Ballon Fiesta Park hosted this year’s High School State Championship and the field was filled with fans and some solid Lacrosse.
In the girl’s title game Santa Fe Prep defeated the Duke City Scorpions 12-5. In the Boys State Title game, the Duke City Scorpions defeated Santa Fe Prep 7-6.
