Cleveland puts undefeated record on the line; Manzano meets Eldorado

Local Sports

The Cleveland Storm remained undefeated Thursday night after a 50-0 mercy rule shortened victory over the West Mesa Mustangs. The win boosted the Storm’s record to 9-0 while West Mesa dropped to 1-8.

The news wasn’t all good for the Storm. Running back Dorian Lewis was injured in the game with what is believed to be a bone bruise. He left during the first half and never returned. In the other game of the night defending 6-A champion, Manzano outlasted injury-riddled Eldorado 47-30.
