Chandler Hutchison puts the Mountain West in NBA first round

Boise State guard Chandler Hutchinson guaranteed the Mountain West a first round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft when the Chicago Bulls made him the 22nd overall pick.

Hutchinson played four seasons with the Broncos and averaged 20 points and 7.7 rebounds during his senior year.

He is the first Boise State Broncos player ever taken in the first round of the NBA Draft. He is also the 14th first round selection in Mountain West history and first since 2013.

No Lobos or NMSU Aggies were taken in the draft.
