John Harbaugh knows how to motivate. The Baltimore Ravens coach was able to motivate his team to win a Super Bowl in 2013. Harbaugh is in Albuquerque for a few days spreading that motivation wherever he is needed. He even brought the big guy with him, his father Jack.
The two spent part of their day sharing fun stories and motivating others at the Native American Community Academy.
“To see the sparkle in the eye and the enthusiasm for being here, apart of this educational system, it’s heartwarming,” said Jack. “Both John and myself have enjoyed the day tremendously, and especially being here with the young people.”
The trip is giving the father and son a chance to visit a new place.
“I got to be honest with you ok,” said John. “So we are from the midwest and the east coast…now, didn’t really picture myself being in Albuquerque.”
John also mentioned that he had New Mexico State going to the sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
Remember, he is a football coach, and he will be in his natural environment on Saturday evening at Tingley Coliseum. The Harbaughs plan to watch the season opener for the Duke City Gladiators.
The Gladiators won the indoor football league championship last season.
