All-Star MVP Alex Bregman’s mother receives new car

Alex Bregman won the 2018 MLB All-Star MVP after an extra-inning home run that gave the American League a lead over the National League. Bregman was awarded two vehicles from Chevrolet after his MVP award, and he said then that the Camaro would be for his mom.

Well, almost six months later, Alex’s mom, Jackie, received her car and she was elated.

“It was the sweetest thing that a child could give to his mother, you know, except for his own birth. He is my baby and I love him. I love all of my kids, and we are going to love Vincent as well,” said Jackie Bregman.

Jackie named the ZL1 Camaro, Vincent Edward Diesel, after Vin Diesel from the Fast and the Furious movies. Alex was unable to make it to Albuquerque for the unveiling of his mother’s car, but he was there in spirit and on FaceTime.

“We are only sad that since he had surgery yesterday he was unable to be here, but he got to see it on FaceTime. So, we are happy that he could be a part this moment, and I can’t wait until he comes to Albuquerque so he can drive it. I will let him borrow it. He’s the only one. So, P.S. if anyone sees my husband driving around town in my car report him to me immediately,” said Jackie.
