3 Native American golfers qualify for Notah Begay III Junior National Championship

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Three local Native American golfers are preparing to compete in the inaugural Notah Begay III Junior National Championship.

Over 30 Native American golfers ages 8-18 competed last week at Santa Ana Golf Club. Now three of them are moving on: 14-year-old Skyler Woods, 13-year-old Zachary Blue-eyes and 17-year-old Shandiin Harper.

The three will represent that Navajo Nation and play November 14-17 in Kinder, Louisiana.
