ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Students from Jefferson Middle School built a disk-throwing robot that won first place at a national competition in Oklahoma. The students were the only representatives from Albuquerque at the National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair.
The students spent more than four months working on their robot and had a success rate of 34%. They won in the robotics/intelligent machine in the engineering category.
