PHOTOS: Mississippi and Tennessee flooding

In Mississippi and Tennessee, residents are battling floodwaters following days of heavy rain that has caused the Pearl River to crest. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves said on Monday, there were no reports of flood-related injuries and 16 search and rescue missions were performed though an estimated 1,000 homes were flooded.

More rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday in the region.
