Yale closed at Central for water line relocation project

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Yale Boulevard south of the University of New Mexico is closed at Central Avenue through the evening of Tuesday, August 16.

The Bernallilo County Water Utility Authority says it is closed in order to complete water line relocation work ahead of the planned Albuquerque Rapid Transit project.

Yale remains open south of Gold. Traffic can use Buena Vista Drive SE to Gold Avenue SE as a detour, or Harvard Drive SE, Cornell Drive SE or Stanford Drive SE to Silver Avenue SE as a detour during this closure.

WUA says area residents and businesses will be notified in advance of any planned water shutoffs.
