ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A group of more than 400 New Mexican women leave Thursday to join Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington.
“We need to make sure the most powerful man in the world.. understands we are watching,” said Amanda Flory, organizer.
Flory is leading the march from New Mexico. Two buses will drive straight through to Washington D.C. They’ll join thousands of other women who will protest on Trump’s first day in office.
There is a crowdfunding page to help those who can’t afford the $600 for the bus ride and hotel room.
For those who can’t make it, sister marches will be held in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces.
