SANTA FE (KRQE)– Santa Fe County Sheriff’s arrested a woman for bringing drugs into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility for her son.
They say jail guards told investigators they suspected 66-year-old Patricia Davis was smuggling drugs into the facility after listening to her phone calls.
Investigators say they confronted her, and she admitted to bringing over 26-thousand dollars’ worth of suboxone into the jail.
Santa Fe County Sheriff’s say Davis told them she would leave the drugs in a bathroom stall for someone else to deliver.
