ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– A woman has been arrested after a deadly crash involving a bicyclist.
It happened Tuesday night at Central and Broadway.
24-year-old Jenna Conklin told police she was going to get gas when she felt a thud under her car.
It was 42-year-old Cyprian Preut who died at the scene.
Officers say they could smell alcohol coming from Conklin. She first admitted to taking Vicodin earlier in the day then eventually said she had a beer and a shot.
According to the criminal complaint, Conklin performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
She’s been booked on vehicular homicide charges.
