A New Mexico woman is accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from a Clovis grocery store.

Prosecutors say Rosa Davis was caught on surveillance camera processing returns when there was no customer at the counter at the Clovis Albertsons.

Over two years, Davis is accused of running nearly 150 transactions totaling more than $12,000.

Police say she has admitted to taking the money to pay for her father’s heart medication.
