ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue continues to monitor the bosque after the fourth fire in two days has popped up. The fire started around 8:13 p.m. on Wednesday on the west side of the river near Winter Haven and Montano Plaza in northwest Albuquerque.

AFR reports the fire burned approximately a quarter of an acre and had flames that were two feet in length. Crews worked to set hose and perimeter lines around the fire and were able to fully contain the blaze within 30 minutes.

In total, AFR says .26 acres were burned and no structures were threatened. Additionally, no injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters.
