QUESTA, N.M. (KRQE) – The water crisis in Questa continues and it looks like it will last at least into next week.
The village believes the problem is with its well that isn’t producing enough water. The village will begin drilling a new well near the high school immediately that could take up to 5 days to complete.
In the meantime, schools are closed and residents are being asked to use alternative sources of water.
Several companies have stepped in to help provide some bottled water for residents.
