Water Authority approves rate increase for Albuquerque metro

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Your water bill is going up.

Wednesday night, the Water Authority Board approved a 5-percent rate increase to help fix old infrastructure.

Customers will pay about $3 more per month.

The rate hike will go into effect July 1, and will be reflected in your August bill.
