A unique fundraiser is helping some local kids pay for tuition: they flipped a house.
Albuquerque Christian School needed a big boost to its student financial aid fund.
When a realtor Dan Rowe heard about the need he worked with community members to pull off the “House Flip Project.”
“And I just knew that if I put the word out there, this is Albuquerque, the community will come together and they’ll help do a fantastic project like this,” realtor Dan Rowe said.
Parents and community members donated their time and materials over the last three months to remodel the Northeast Heights home.
The home is now up for sale and 100 percent of the profit will be going toward helping students pay for next year’s tuition.
