UPDATE: Heath remade the pin to exclude the words ‘Balloon Fiesta.’ The pin is now also available in the official Balloon Fiesta gift shop, as well as his website.
A man selling a “Better Call Saul” pin ahead of Balloon Fiesta is pulling them off his website.
Thursday, KRQE News 13 told you about Garrett Heath. He lives in San Antonio, but was inspired by the culture of Fiesta and “Breaking Bad.”
He put Jimmy McGill’s car next to a Los Pollos Hermanos balloon on a pin to sell on his website.
Friday, Heath said Balloon Fiesta officials contacted him to let him know “Balloon Fiesta” is trademarked.
Heath said he’s hoping to come up with a licensing agreement with Fiesta and pay them a fee, or remake the pins without “Balloon Fiesta” on them.
