UNM increases security on North Campus

Security is getting beefed up to keep students safer on UNM’s North Campus.

Two new security officers began patrolling North Campus on Monday and will do so seven days a week from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

They say student safety is more at risk at night, and know that a particular part of campus can be especially dark.

UNM says the move aims to help students feel safer and focus on their studies.
