ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – UNM Hospital is notifying more than 2,800 patients of a data breach.
They say that limited medical information may have been mailed to a wrong address due to a technical issue with the hospital’s billing systems. Information like the names of patients, their providers’ names and medical services they received were included in the breach.
The hospital says no financial information or social security numbers were leaked. UNM-H is notifying patients affected by mail.
