UNM first-year residency requirement to go into effect fall 2018

News

Most first-year students at the University of New Mexico will be required to live on campus.

Two years ago the Board of Regents passed the controversial policy, but decided to postpone it.

It won’t apply to students who are older than 20, married, or those who live in a 30 mile radius of campus.

The policy goes into effect this fall.
