SANTA FE (KRQE) – Stunning artwork by artists inspired by nature will be on display at an upcoming event.

This year’s show, “Spectrum,” allows artists to display their works that were inspired by nature and dazzling images by scientists studying nature at the smallest scales.

Jennifer Gillette, UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center Assistant Professor, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the event. Watch above.

“Spectrum” opens Friday, March 18 at the Gerald Peters Gallery at 1011 Paseo de Peralta. This two day event will feature gallery viewings and public talks. The opening weekend will also provide a “Nano Days” exhibit for children and teens, in which they can take part in a variety of science-oriented games and try several hands-on experiments.
