UNM cancels some summer camps

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico is canceling some of its summer camps.

Usually, UNM hosts camps for children from June to July, where they get to participate in sports, games, field trips and other activities.

However, the university says many of those camps will have to be canceled because of renovations to Johnson Gym where most of the camps are held.

The camps are expected to resume in 2020 once construction is finished.
