Two women facing armed robbery charges in El Prado

EL PRADO, N.M. (KRQE) – Two New Mexico women are facing armed robbery charges after being accused of holding up a convenience store in northern New Mexico.

The incident happened Monday morning in El Prado. The Taos County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Vanessa Cisneros wore a mask and was armed with a handgun when she entered the store and demanded money.

Estefina Valles, 21, is the accused getaway driver.
