Join KRQE News 13 Digital Anchor Chris McKee Thursday 11:30 a.m., right here, for a live discussion and analysis of this year’s legislative session, so far.

Thursday marks 30 days of legislative work at the New Mexico state capitol during the 2021 session. With lawmakers at the halfway point for this year’s 60-day session, KRQE News 13 is taking an extended look at what’s happened so far and what’s still on the horizon.

KRQE News 13 Legislative Reporter Rachel Knapp will join Chris as a special guest, discussing her coverage of some of the biggest issues lawmakers are tackling. Some of those big issues include the possible legalization of recreational cannabis, lawmakers effort to eliminate a 1960’s abortion law, and legislation that would allow New Mexicans file lawsuits in state court, rather than federal, against government agencies if they believe their civil rights were violated under the New Mexico Bill of Rights.
