TULAROSA N.M. (KRQE) – Haunted houses are everywhere during Halloween season, but Christmas?

It’s a nightmare before Christmas come to life.

The Horror Hall of Tularosa along with the Lions Club is doing Christmas with a spooky twist.

“We wanted to add some festivities this time of year with a little bit of a haunted twist,” said Angela Nowell, local artist.

Starting Friday, the Horror Hall, which is known for their haunted house around Halloween, will have their “Haunted Holidays” event

It’s a walk through a haunted house with a spinning tunnel included, but with a Christmas theme.

“You’re going to see some typical, traditional things here at Horror Hall with a little bit of a twist. It is the holiday season and this is how Horror Hall does the holidays,” said Jana Carstaedt, Alamogordo Lions Club

Those with Horror Hall have had this idea for a long time, but with the support of the community this year they are making it happen.

The money from the haunted house will go to the Lions Club to help local families during the holidays.

Friday night they will all see their work pay off, while bringing out some screams in the process.

The haunted house will run Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission is $13.
