Traveling research project kicks off nationwide tour in Albuquerque

A traveling research bus stopped in Albuquerque looking for your help.

The National Institute of Health’s “All of Us” bus started its two-week tour at Civic Plaza.

They’re hoping to gather data from 1 million or more people nationwide to accelerate research and improve health.

Ultimately, representatives think this could change the future of healthcare.

“One thing that we do want to stress is diversity is key in research,” tour manager Francisco Huizar said. “We want anybody and everybody to come out and learn about the program and hopefully people understand the importance of participating.”

If you’d like to participate, the research bus will be at Civic Plaza through Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
