The final numbers from this year’s Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta are in.
During this year’s Carry Me Away theme there were 567 total registered regular shape balloons and 96 total special shapes.
Registered pilots at the event hit a total number of 623.
A total of fourteen counties were represented at the Fiesta including Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Catalonia, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
A whopping, 886,037 total guests visited Fiesta this year.
While four of the 14 balloon event sessions were canceled as the result of poor weather this year, guests are asked to save their tickets from the following sessions to be used next year: October 6, 7 and 11 during the night sessions and October 14 during the morning session.
