This week in Albuquerque is filled with food trucks, brunches and Easter fun!

1. 4th Annual Great New Mexico Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival

Details: Food Truck Festivals of America is pleased to announce the return of the Great New Mexico Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival to the Albuquerque Balloon Museum. Some of New Mexico’s most popular food trucks will dish out fan favorites, including everything from gooey grilled cheese, to fall-off-the-bone ribs, lobster rolls and whoopie pies. Grab a craft ale or beer to complement your delicious food. For the kids, there will be plenty of activities, making this a family-friendly event. Don’t miss out on the VIP tickets which will give you early access to this event.

2. Spring Break Family Day

Details: The Balloon Museum is hosting their annual Spring Break Family Day. Enjoy kites, balloons, bubbles, gliders and more – including: entertainment, hands-on art stations, the balloon museum’s exhibits and of course the Tim Anderson 4-D Theater. Don’t forget to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the north grounds, or enjoy delicious selections from a variety of food trucks.

Date and Time: Wednesday, 9:30 am – 3 pm

3. Masterworks of New Mexico Fine Art Show

Details: The annual MasterWorks of New Mexico is a juried fine art show which features beautiful paintings by exclusively New Mexican artists – working in oil, acrylic, pastel and watermedia. In addition, almost 300 miniature paintings and sculpture will be exhibited. All artwork will be available for purchase, so whether you’re in the market for art or you simply want to appreciate the work of these artists, don’t miss out on this event. Keep in mind that the art show will be closed Mondays and Easter Sunday.

4. Easter Brunch Buffet at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

Details: The Pueblo Harvest Café, inside of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, is celebrating Easter with a vast and enticing selection of dishes. Enjoy 30 entrees , salads, sides and desserts, plus 4 different specialty stations to satisfy your cravings – ranging from omelets to honey-glazed ham.

5. Easter Brunch Buffet at the Albuquerque Sheraton Uptown Hotel

Details: If you’re looking for an Easter brunch close to ABQ Uptown, the Albuquerque Sheraton Uptown Hotel has you covered. Featuring a scrumptious brunch menu for the whole family, and the Easter Bunny will even be making an appearance to take photos with the kids. 6. Einstein Gala a. Details: The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is hosting their most important fundraising event of the year. This black-tie event features a cocktail reception, a raffle and silent auction, and a delicious dinner with unique entertainment – live science experiments! The National Award of Nuclear Science & History will also be presented at this event. Proceeds from this gala will support the Museum’s STEM educational programs for K-12 students and their professional development workshops for science and math teachers.

7. Foam Glow 5K

Details: Bring your plain white tee to this 5k and get ready to glow! Participants are blasted with colorful foam that glows under the black light stations all along the course. This fun run is open to all ages and experience levels. There is even a huge dance party at the finish line, complete with a live DJ and even more glowing foam. A portion of each registration fee will benefit a local charity.
