Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Albuquerque.
Gov. Susana Martinez announced Carenet Healthcare Services will be bringing up to 244 new jobs to the city over the next five years.
The San Antonio based company will invest $3 million dollars in Downtown Albuquerque location.
The state provided the company with more than $636,000 to help with job training and other expenses.
“First and foremost what mattered to them was workforce, available workers that they could find that they had confidence in,” said Gary Tongjes, from Albuquerque Economic Development.
The city says the company’s investment could create a potential economic impact of $28-million.
