One of the teens involved in the murder of an Albuquerque bartender is going back to being locked up because he can’t follow the rules.
Enrique Palomino was 14 years old when he and five others were breaking into homes and cars in 2015. One of the owners, Steven Gerecke, confronted them. He was shot and killed.
Palomino pleaded guilty for his role in the murder and was released on probation. In court Monday, Palomino admitted to violating that probation after he was caught with a gun and alcohol.
Judge John J. Romero Jr. ordered him to remain locked up until his 21st birthday.
