ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE News 13 has learned the name of the teen accused of stealing a UFO from the Roswell Museum.
According to the police report, 17-year-old Newman Seely was one of three people caught on surveillance video loading the flying saucer into a truck.
The saucer was later found smashed into pieces just outside of town.
Seely was taken into custody at his home. He’s charged with larceny and conspiracy. He has not given a motive for the theft.
Police are still looking for the two other suspects.
